Ridgeline Techworks (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website at https://www.ridgelinetech.dev. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit or use this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this simple because our data practices are simple: this site exists to tell you about our services and let you contact us.

Information we collect

• Contacting us directly. If you email or call us using the contact details on our site, we receive whatever information you choose to share (such as your name, email address, phone number, and message). We use it solely to respond to your inquiry and for any follow-up you request.
• Our contact form. If you use the form on this site, we collect the name, email address, message, and optional phone number you enter, together with the IP address and country the request came from, which are recorded to help us identify abuse. We use this only to respond to you. The form is processed by our own code running on Cloudflare, and the resulting message is delivered to us by Resend (Resend, Inc.), a transactional email provider, which sends it through Amazon Simple Email Service. Your submission passes through those providers in order to reach our inbox.
• Spam protection. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that you are a person rather than an automated script. Turnstile receives technical signals from your browser to make that assessment. Cloudflare states that Turnstile does not use this information for cross-site tracking or advertising profiles.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically logs technical data when you access the site, such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of the request. These logs are used for security and site operation and are not combined with other data to identify you.
• Analytics. This site uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics uses cookies to help us understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). IP addresses are not logged or stored by Google Analytics 4. The information generated is transmitted to and stored by Google. We use it only to understand site traffic and improve the site.

What we don't do

• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
• We do not send marketing email or newsletters.
• We do not process payments through this website.
• We do not share the information you send us with third parties beyond the service providers named above, unless required by law.

Cookies and your choices

The only cookies this site sets are those used by Google Analytics. You can prevent them by:

• configuring your browser to block or delete cookies;
• installing Google’s opt-out browser add-on, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Data retention

Messages you send us are retained in our email for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and our business records, and are deleted on request. Messages sent through the contact form also appear in our Resend delivery log, which we use to confirm a message actually reached us, and which is subject to Resend’s own retention period. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics default retention settings.

Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@ridgelinetech.dev and we will respond promptly. Note that data transmitted over the internet (for example email) can never be guaranteed fully secure; complete protection of data from third-party access is not possible.

Children

This site is directed at businesses and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If our data practices change, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
